Sanitary Design
|

The primary seal is made using an o-ring which is positioned to minimize dead volume in
the cylinder.

The secondary fittings are also available in "ultra-seal" configuration to assure that the
sanitary design is maintained.

The cylinder can be autoclaved for cleaning and sanitizing.
|
|
Standard finish is 20 Ra ( polished and electro-polished ) which meets most standards for
chemical, food and pharmaceutical applications.

Materials of construction
|
|
All wetted parts are TP 316L Stainless Steel.
|
|
Standard gasket is fluorocarbon; other materials available on request.
|
|
Design
|
|
Cylinders are rated at 500 psig @ 325 deg F.
|
|
Cylinders can also be used in cryogenic applications to - 300 deg F.
|
|
Due to the use of the o-ring seal, cylinders can be used for full vacuum and oscillate between
pressure and vacuum with no leaks - guaranteed.

Diameters are available in (OD) = 1", 1.5", 2", 2.5", 3", 4".
|
|
Heights are available in 3 lengths for each diameter.
|
|
Volumes are available from 9.74 ml - 1,513 ml allowing for a broad range of applications.

Fittings
|
|
VersaCyl is available as standard with either "ultra-seal" fittings or standard NPT fittings.

Dip tubes are available.

Standardized Design
|
Because VersaCyl employs a standardized design, parts can be interchanged with no problems.
Customers can purchase one cylinder and various cover configurations.

VersaCyl is available in custom configurations upon request.

VersaCyl is also available in exotic materials
( Hastalloy, Inconel, etc.).

VersaCyl is available in coated configurations ( Teflon, Kynar, etc.).
