ValvAlign™ is a reusable, patent-pending, multi-purpose collar that protects valve alignment during shipping, handling, and installation. Valve stems atop cylinders have strict dimensional tolerances to ensure proper fit in MOCVD and similar process machines. ValvAlign™ secures the distance between the stems, protects stem alignment in the vertical plane, and protects against shipping and impact damage.

During shipping, handling, and installation, valve stems are often used as handles since they are easy to grab. As a result, stems can be bent and misaligned leading to installation problems for users. Since valve blocks sit high on the valve stems, ValvAlign™ is installed beneath the valves and forms a natural handle for carrying and manipulating cylinders.

ValvAlign™ is manufactured in identical halves using alignment pegs to ensure that each half fits together properly. Since every half is identical, any two Valvalign™ pieces form a complete set. The bottom edges of the pieces are rounded for a more comfortable grip and easy transport of cylinders.

ValvAlign™ is also available separately in sets of 10, 20, 50, or 100 and can be adapted to virtually any bubbler, from any manufacturer that adheres to DOT standards in either US/EU or Japanese valve formats. ValvAlign™ constitutes a low-cost solution for safeguarding the integrity of cylinders in transit.
